Crunchy Granola Clusters

📝 Ingredients:

  • - 1½ cups rolled oats

  • ¼ cup almond butter (or any natural nut/seed butter)

  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional, great with apple)

  • ⅛ tsp sea salt

  • ⅓ cup crushed Bonny Bite Crunchy & Puffed Strawberries and Apple – leave some larger pieces for crunch)

  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds or chopped nuts (optional for added crunch)

  • 1 tbsp flaxseed or chia seeds (optional for nutrition boost)

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt together: Almond butter, honey (or maple syrup) and coconut oil
Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  3. In a large bowl, mix: Rolled oats, Bonny Bite Crunchy & Puffed Strawberries and Apple, seeds/nuts (if using), Flax/chia (optional), cinnamon & salt

  4. Pour the warm wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until well coated. Let cool for 3–5 minutes, then gently fold in some of the larger puffed fruit pieces to preserve their crunch.

  5. Using your hands or a spoon, press the mixture into tight little mounds or clusters, about 1.5-inch wide. Press firmly to help them hold shape. Pro Tip: Use a silicone muffin tray to form consistent, compact clusters.

6. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown. Rotate the tray halfway through for even baking.

7. Let cool on the tray for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. They’ll firm up more as they cool.
